Pink Skies is the psychedelic-pop project of LA-based artist and producer Arieh Berl, which began as a series of lo-fi home recordings rooted in his Bay Area upbringing. Over time, the project’s woozy, kaleidoscopic production style quickly captivated listeners, blending influences from Tame Impala, Toro y Moi, Djo, and The Marías into a sound entirely its own. The music is an eclectic fusion of psychedelic rock, indie pop, chillwave, and electronic elements, reflecting Berl’s expansive and ever-evolving musical vision.
Since debuting in 2018 with the EP Does It Really Matter, Pink Skies has built a loyal and growing fanbase. The release of the space-epic concept album SPECTRA propelled the project to new heights, landing on key playlists like New Music Friday, Fresh Finds, Modern Psychedelia, and All New Indie, and amassing over 30 million streams. Pink Skies followed SPECTRA with the classic summer psych-rock vibe of Summer’s For Lovers — a sun-drenched love letter to fleeting romance and endless youth — and the electronic-leaning The Tree That Broke the Cement, which marked a bold sonic departure into textured synths and introspective songwriting, expanding the project’s emotional and stylistic reach.
Pink Skies’ immersive live performances have further fueled their rise, with headline shows at venues like The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles and Baby’s All Right in New York City, and tours supporting Cannons, The Knocks, Neil Frances, Goth Babe, Day Wave, Tim Atlas, Boy Pablo, and TV Girl. Outside of Pink Skies, Berl has also built a strong reputation as a producer, earning credits on tracks for 6LACK, Saint JHN, and Khalid, including platinum work on East Atlanta Love Letter.
"Forever" is the first shot fired from Pink Skies’ upcoming album due out September 10th, 2025 — a dream soaked in golden hour and gasoline.Written against the backdrop of a country slipping through its own fingers, Forever captures the innocence of believing in something bigger, even as the ground starts to crack beneath you. It's a love song, a protest song, and a memory all at once — built on dusty guitars, soaring synths, and the fading sunset of the American dream. With its blend of psychedelic indie rock and working-class poetry, Pink Skies invites you into a world that feels nostalgic and broken, but still burning with hope.
