In 2013 RBSB began with a handful of songs and a dream to play a show in our home town of San Marcos, TX. Since then we have created 3 full length albums and a live album, and toured across the United States as well as Mexico and Europe. Our journey has been powered completely by our DIY values. Every mile driven on the road, every show booked, every song written has happened with our own hard work and dedication to this life we love so much. We are a band who genuinely cares about each other and the people who come out to see us again and again. RBSB is not out here to be rockstars, we are here to make connections with new friends and family all across the world sharing our most vulnerable selves with people who feel something when they listen to our music. Our fans are not nameless faces in the crowd, they are people who we can’t wait to hug when we see them again. They have shared meals and their homes with us, and more good times than can be counted. 

Our music is a whole blend of different sounds, but each one is a moment where we bare ourselves to the world. Each song our members sing is a moment of absolute authenticity in what it means to be a person experiencing the world. We write about love, regret, insecurity, fear, shame, joy, play, and the terrifying magnificence of being alive. We are proud of the raw honesty we get to share with others, and beyond honored that our words have the ability to reach so many people experiencing the same issues in their lives.

Rock Bottom String Band doesn’t ever stop dreaming, and we’ve made every dream so far come true with hard work and belief in what we are doing. We can’t wait to keep doing what we love for as long as we can and making more wonderful memories along the way. Til we die, we’ll be celebrating every moment that we get.

So does that make him pop? Rock? “Who cares!” says NPR of the Austin-based singer, songwriter, and producer. “Walker Lukens is loyal to only one category: excellence.” Walker is also the co-creator and host of the songwriting-confessional podcast called, coincidentally, Song Confessional, and co-owns Paradise Lunch, a recording studio where he produced his fourth studio record, Accessible Beauty, which is out this summer.

Join us June 27th at Dan Electro's for a Cumbia Dance Party celebrating the release of Gio Chamba's "Tropidelicos" vinyl along with collaborator Principe Q on the decks all night. Cumbia all night!

Gio Chamba is an Electropical-Cumbia duo from Houston, Texas, formed by Gio Alejandro and Coffee Guzman. Blending electronic production, hip-hop, and traditional cumbia, their sound feels both modern and familiar, driven by bass-heavy grooves, psychedelic guitar lines, and high-energy live.

Their music is shaped in collaboration with producer Svani Quintanilla (Principe Q) son of A.B. Quintanilla of Los Kumbia Kings bringing a distinct cumbia lineage to their evolving sound. On stage, Gio's vocals and guitar interplay with Coffee's explosive, punk influenced conga playing, creating a dance-forward live experience that connects immediately with audiences.

Over the past decade, Gio Chamba has shared stages with artists such as Ozomatli, Natalia Lafourcade, Chicano Batman, Caravan Palace, L'Impératrice, AB Quintanilla & Kumbia Allstars, and many more.

Their latest full-length album, Tropidélicos (Mixto Records), draws inspiration from Peruvian Chicha while pushing psychedelic-electronic cumbia forward. Gio Chamba's sound emanates from the cultural melting-pot that is Houston. Their music is dotted with vicious raps, tropical vocal melodies, and psychedelic guitar solos from Gio, but the driving force of their performances comes from their bass heavy, danceable, electronic beats rooted in the wide-spread genre, Cumbia.

Last year this was one of the best shows on 2025 at Dan Electros and we are bringing it back. Mohama Saz and India Tigers in Texas is a must must see show.

Since 2014, Mohama Saz has been creating unique sounds by skillfully combining elements of southern spanish folk, Eastern european music, kraut rock and african-inspired rhythms. With the baglama saz, synthesizers and powerful rhythm section, the four-piece from Madrid explores musical horizons emancipated from British rock tradition. Mohama Saz from Madrid, Spain are one of the most exciting live bands in the world today, a mind-blowing manifestation of pure psychedelic exotica. Within minutes of taking the stage they have the audience completely under their spell, dancing in wide-eyed bliss to their uniquely intoxicating music. With an electrified Baglama Saz as their lead instrument they fuse elements of Turkish and Armenian folk music, Mediterranean psychedelia and mesmerizing Middle Eastern-flavored ragas with galvanizing go-go discotheque grooves. Mike Stax (Ugly Things Magazine / The Loons) Experiencing Mohama Saz live is a meditative ritual of excitement and pure emotion. One of the best live shows I can think of today, they are truly something special! Jake García (The Black Angels)

While listening to their albums is a journey into musical bliss, Mohama Saz is better known for their explosive live shows, where communion with the audience transforms the performance into a psychedelic rave where dance, emotion and a quasi-mystical experience go hand in hand. They have entranced audiences at some of Europe's best festivals, such as Le Guess Who in the Netherlands, the MENT Festival in Slovenia, and Desert Fest in Hamburg. In addition to Spain, they have toured Italy, Germany, Portugal, France, Belgium, Prague, and Austria.

In August 2022, they embarked on their first West Coast tour of the United States, which included concerts organized by the Desert Daze festival. They returned the following year on a more ambitious U.S. tour, this time with 18 concerts in 21 days. They played shows in California, Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico. Tiki Oasis and Ugly Things Weekend (both in San Diego) were highlights of that tour.

In the beginning of 2024 they performed at Barcelona Psych Fest, Keroxen, Blockparty, Monkey Weekend, Sintonitzza, and Altaveu. Then in July of that same year they set off on a European tour supporting HIGH ON FIRE. Then returned back to the United States in August for their third American tour, this time traveling through six states and performing in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Galveston.

In 2025, they performed at Primavera Sound, Reus Cultura Contemporanea, Músicas Disperses (Lleida), Fumega Fest, and Sauzipf Festival (Austria), among others. The "Maquina De Guerra" tour concludes with a sold-out show at the Sala Copérnico in Madrid, capacity 700 people. The concert was recorded and will be released on a double album in February of next year.

Ask Carol is a Norwegian alternative indie-rock duo known for playing music for cows and out in the wild.

Hailing from the remote Norwegian mountain community of Auma, Ask Carol defies their small size with a huge and powerful sound – featuring two guitars, drums, synth, trombone, and Carol's innovative bass and guitar system. Their music ranges from fierce to gentle, drawing inspiration from bands like the Kills, and the White Stripes, with a distinct Nordic, melancholic twist. They've toured internationally, with an 8 month US Tour in 2024, supported The Brian Jonestown Massacre, played at SXSW, Summerfest, Treefort and many other festivals, and been nominated for the Norwegian Grammy (Spellemann award).
