Join us at Dan Electros for our post River Revival showcase featuring Houston's own Alex Maas of the Black Angels performing his solo project. Opening up will be Galveston's India Tiger who recently finished a 4 month residency at Dan's earlier this year. Alex has played River Revival with his solo project and w Black Angels headlining year 9, but this will be his first time playing Dan Electros.

Musical Career

- The Black Angels: Formed in Austin in 2004, the band became a leading force in the modern psychedelic rock revival. Alex Maas sings and plays bass, organ, and other instruments.

- Mien: He joined this experimental electronic and psych-rock supergroup alongside members from The Horrors and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

- Solo Work: He released his debut solo album, Luca, exploring dreamlike and introspective soundscapes.

- Levitation Festival: He is a key figure behind the prominent psych-rock festival Levitation (originally Austin Psych Fest).
